We offer full service residential and commercial grading, new home site development, road and driveway construction, foundation excavation, utility trenching, retaining walls, equestrian arenas, and more.
Our experience includes extensive work involving difficult and steep mountain slopes, densely wooded hillsides, and complex topography.

Before the military, Mike built his foundation in construction and heavy equipment operation. While he worked several years in the field, he felt he had more of a purpose elsewhere, which led him to the Army. When it was time to move on from the military, he returned back to his roots to continue his passion behind the controls of an excavator. You can count on him and his team to be honest, knowledgeable and dependable.
Michael Welch served in the U.S Army and Blackhawk Excavation's name was inspired by the team he served alongside during his service. The discipline, accountability and teamwork he lived everyday in the Army continue to shape how he operates his business every day.
